Marketing & Communication Manager

WANTED: Contractor for a 2 month Marketing and Communications position in Adventura, FL. This is an onsite role and will be 40 hours per week. The hiring company manages high-end hotels, shopping centers and luxury condos. In this position, you will be responsible for the planning and development of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and sales by utilizing various platforms: website, social media, special events and public relations, both external and internal. Additionally, you will assist in directing the efforts of the advertising, web developer and public relations agencies and coordinate strategic plans with departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Website management: Oversee development of editorial content for website and e-newsletter. Manages relationship with web developer and ensures all projects are completed in a timely manner.
2. Social Media: Direct public relations agency regarding strategies and direction for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and other platforms.
3. Communication: Implement communication tactics used to gather retailer data. Monitor sales trends and informs retailers of shopping center marketing activities. Maintain an up-to-date list of retailers’ marketing and public relations contacts.
4. Special Events: Create and develop unique sales and awareness-driven events with key retailers.
5. Strategic Planning: Assist in development and execution of annual marketing plan.
6. Concierge and Tourism: Manage the execution of marketing programs at the concierge center. Train and educate concierge team on specific programs.
7. Business Development: Assist with research, ideas and presentations for potential advertisers.
8. EDITORIAL: Assist with the development of publication across all platforms: digital, print, public relations, special events and more.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or Advertising.
2. Three to five years of experience in marketing, public relations or advertising preferred
3. Bilingual Preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
>Knowledge of retail management, brand marketing and advertising.
>Experience in digital marketing, social media platforms and web development.
>Excellent written and oral communication skills.
>Excellent interpersonal, communication, selling and negotiations skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy when
interacting with others.
>Sound fiscal management and budgeting skills.
>Computer skills including word, excel, power point, photoshop and others.
>Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays.
>Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and acute prioritizing skills.
