Market Researcher

6 month contract on-site at client location
Pay: Up to 42/hr. DOE

The Ads Research & Insights team at this very desirable technology company conducts and delivers research and insights to prove ad effectiveness and tell the macro consumer story, with the aim of amplifying key messages in the press, driving sales and supporting major Ads initiatives.

Responsibilities:
-Design and conduct research from end-to-end to understand the effectiveness of various advertising products, consumer behavior, and support client case studies.
-Review and approve research methodologies and research-based claims to be used in PR pitches, published in press.
-Support research team members in conducting research, analyzing data, and generating insights
-Work cross-functionally with research, marketing, and product teams

Requirements
-B.A/B.S. in market research, psychology, social science, statistics, or a related field
-5+ years of market research or analytics experience
-Command a broad set of qualitative, quantitative, and behavioral research methodologies
-Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research approaches
-Experience with survey writing
-Experience using SPSS, R or similar statistical packages preferred
-Experience with data analysis and principles of experiment design
-Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
-Excellent communication skills, and engaging storytelling skills
