Market Research Project Manager

This role will support the following areas:
• Develop learning plans, conduct research among global audiences (including consumers, merchants, developers), analyze research data and convert it into insights and stories and drive influence into the organization- all within reasonable timelines and budgets.
• Manage programs such as the Lens program which is a platform used to conduct various global ad hoc projects.

• Manage an engaged vendor base of partners that can help with best in class market research and insights capability, exceptional data access and extremely engaging visualization of the stories told by these findings

In order to be effective this individual will need to collaborate closely with other functions, including product and marketing, customer analytics, and strategy and manage research agencies.
Job Requirements
5+ Years experience in customer insights in a fast moving, rapid growth product and marketing environment - preferably with a mix of vendor and client side experience.
• Ability to understand business issues and translate them into metrics and research design.
• Primary research experience including scoping, design, fielding, analysis, reporting and presenting results. • Demonstrated ability to deliver insights that have significantly impacted business results.
• Ability to quickly understand and use a variety of data (including primary and secondary research
and trends) to weave a cohesive "story" that will help decision-makers take action; ability to summarize and "bottom line" research results in crisp executive summaries and recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience and success managing complex and/or international projects.
• Strong affinity to the consumer tech category and/or financial services category
• Impeccable attention to detail, very high quality standards and robust integrity when it comes to data and insights
• High energy, self-driven, loads of initiative, resourceful - generally very focused on getting to "yes" and getting to "do"
• Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills.
• Robust project planning and management skills and repertoire – from short term, fast turnaround initiatives to longer term (up to 3 months) programs
