Our client, a well-established San-Diego based Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) company, seeks a Market Research Consultant to assist in market research and analysis, market and product/service planning, sales administration, and reporting for business segments. This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; Manage difficult or emotional client situations; Respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Supports the development and completion of primary and secondary research by conducting competitive analysis, coordinating consolidation of internal MedImpact competitive research/analysis, and supporting internal communication of market intelligence to MedImpact stakeholders.

• Conducts needed data analysis of internal and external data to support news sales, customer retention, and market development activities.

• Oversees third-party research activities including research methodology design, data preparation, analysis and reporting for the conduct of competitive analysis, customer satisfaction measurement and other market impact studies

• Assist with market and product/service planning by supporting the Marketing team’s development of marketing plans for market segments and product/services.

• Supporting campaign development, management, analysis and reporting of identified marketing tactics.

• Performs sales administration and reporting by providing direction and support for use of relationship databases in sales and marketing activities, including customer relationship management, external communications, event registration and others as required.
