Our client, a major entertainment studio, is seeking a contract Market Research Associate to work with their Global Home Entertainment Research Group in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data relating to home video sales and consumer behavior. Using primary and secondary research resources, the consultant will develop and complete research studies relating to the international home video market. The consultant will work create and launch various quantitative and qualitative methodologies for use in planning future releases, promotions, and marketing plans. The consultant will also help manage primary research vendors including questionnaire and survey design, project execution, and final analysis. Research could also include the analysis of home entertainment sales data and technology penetration rates to identify and explain key trends in the market.
The position requires someone who is comfortable with numbers and at least 5 years experience in quantitative research, preferably in the video industry. Experience with expertise with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, SPSS, SAS, or other statistical packages is a plus.
