Market Research Analyst

Global Strategic Research department within our major insurance client seeks Market Research to deliver actionable insights that inform and shape business decisions and help business lines to achieve key performance goals. The Analyst’s mission is to provide the client’s businesses and corporate functions with strategic, relevant and actionable insights that are well grounded in business acumen.

The Market Research Analyst will work across Global Strategic Research to provide project management and analytical support on specific ongoing and ad hoc projects in a consulting capacity. The Analyst is principally responsible for developing key components of projects, managing less complex studies or tracking studies. The Analyst will report to a Manager of Global Strategic Research.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in development, management, and execution of research plans.
2. Conduct analyses of research and customer data using sophisticated, multi-disciplinary techniques when appropriate.
3. Integrate findings with secondary research and market trends as appropriate.
4. Create presentations, reports, and other deliverables to communicate findings and insights.

Requirements:

- 2+ years experience within the market research industry or a related field.
- Expertise with Excel (formulas, macros) and graphical PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong proficiency in either SPSS or SAS, with working knowledge of statistics (e.g., significance testing, correlation, regression). Programming aptitude a plus.
- Bachelors or master’s degree with coursework in statistics, mathematics, social sciences, business, and/or economics.
- Strong demonstrated interest in strategic market research.
