Our automotive client is looking to add a Market Research Analyst to their team. The main responsibilities are to support Customer, Consumer and Market Research team with research and analysis tasks and deliverables. This is a temporary position until the end of January, with the possibility of bring on full-time. This position is onsite in Plymouth, MI.

Key Duties:
• Support Targeted Business process with segment level Market and Consumer Research deliverables, including:
o segment and vehicle sales outlook
o cycle planning
o vehicle pricing positioning
o syndicated data runs and analysis (i.e. J.D. Power, AutoPacific)
o published Market (OEM, supplier) and Consumer intelligence
o feature contenting analysis (Benchmarking)
o trend tracking and analysis
• Analyze, graph/chart syndicated market information using creative visualization formats
• Perform desk research, analyze and summarize learnings in collaboration with Consumer and Market functional leads
• Assist with knowledge management tasks such as intranet portal maintenance, data archiving and centralization
Education and Experience
• Education in research related fields (research, marketing)
• Experience in professional research position
• Automotive experience strongly recommended
Skills and Capabilities
• Excellent qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills
• Proficient Excel skills (pivot table, graphing and charting, conditional formatting, programming)
• Proficient in powerpoint with strong illustrative/creative presentation skills
• Experience with mTab a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoys working independently as well as with teams, and is self-motivated

Working Hours
• 3 to 5 days a week (24-40 hours) depending on workload
• Work days in the office to be determined based on workload – flexibility possible
