Manager/Director - Digital Product Design
We’re seeking a talented, creative, and energetic Manager/Director to lead the development of new digital
products for one of our Clients here in Boston. They are one of the foremost boutique design agencies in Boston with a focus on Fortune 500 companies.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
Creative
As the creative visionary on a project it will be imperative that an individual not only have experience in
leading user centered design processes such as client/team concepting and brainstorming sessions but also
have experience in defining strategies and activities that help drive teams toward innovative ideas.

Manager
The management responsibilities will focus on schedules, staff, prioritizing deliverables, maintaining
timelines and developing the team.

Client Relations
This position calls for a seasoned veteran who can also manage the client relationship with a mind toward
building future opportunities and strengthening Big Studio’s brand.

Communication
As the project leader, being comfortable presenting to C-level management is a must. The position also
requires an astute ability to read/forecast a client’s needs and concerns before they become issues and
deftly resolve client pain-points if they happen.

Overall Required Experience/Qualifications
The right person for this role would ideally have a focus in at least one of the following
disciplines.-User Experience Design (UX), Visual Design, Interactive Design, User Research,
Marketing, Project Management or Development and would have the following experience -
• 5+ years of team management in a computer or design related field
• 8+ Years of web or mobile application design or development experience
• 5+ years agency (marketing/digital) experience
• Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate direct reports
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating ability to communicate with all
levels of the organization
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and competing
priorities simultaneously.
• Sketching concepts to convey meaning (Artistic ability not required)
