Manager of eCommerce/e-Tailers

This role supports a global beauty company's major salon division's E-Commerce team by overseeing the relationship with National Accounts/eTailers. The role requires the ability to influence, strengthen and manage the relationship with third-party retail partners. This role will be essential in driving consumer consumption of five beauty brands sold (whole sale) to beauty sites and then remarketed to consumers for purchase. The ideal candidate will have strengths in the ability to negotiate and follow-through on the execution of programs to drive high share of voice and the launch of impactful campaigns. Experience should include a strong knowledge of E-Commerce, a proven history of driving sales via partner sites and other relevant experience. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President of E-Commerce and leads a number of stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:
• Strategize, plan and launch five beauty brands on retailer partner websites.
• Support the definition of an omni-channel retail vision to acquire and retain customers along all brand touch points.
• Collaborate with each brand and sales teams to understand how ecommerce sales on retailer websites will meet their yearly sales goals/forecast.
• Manage and strengthen relationship with retailers, negotiating placement, brands’ share of voice and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee brand e-Commerce efforts with retailers to ensure on-time launches, promotions, and maximizing opportunities to drive incremental sales.
• Responsible for the reporting (collection, analysis, communication).
• Partner with brands’ marketing and sales teams to ensure cohesive programs considering all sides of the business.
• Strategize on retail relationships, evaluating new partners, new programs and other innovation.
• Manage executive level reporting and communication, clearly communicating eCommerce concepts.
• Display expert level skills and knowledge in negotiating.

Job Requirements include:
• 3-5 years of relevant E-Commerce professional experience required
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
• Previous experience with a retailer or as account manager for CPG brands a plus
• Ability to effectively collaborate with retail partners (e-Commerce buyers)
• Attention to detail, customer-service orientation and creativity in problem-solving
• Advanced knowledge of current digital trends and techniques
• Advanced math and analytical skills
• Advanced negotiation skills

This is an off-site position, 6 months to 1 year consulting position - hourly + full health benefits will be offered.



We need this person to :

Step 1: Discovery – assess the current situation (requires meeting with many stakeholders, online research, etc.)

Step 2: Put together a plan / recommendation on how to work with NatAccts partners, along with a timeline.

Step 3: Go around to stakeholders to get buy-in for the plan.

Step 4: Execute the plan (est. around Q4).

In addition to above, there are adhoc responsibilities/help we’re hoping this person can pitch in on. Given above is very dependent on how quickly the person in this role works… on the availability of stakeholders… key meetings, etc
