Manager of Web Producers (Audience Engagement)

Come and work for a leading Non-Profit in downtown DC! Immediate temp to perm need for a Manager of Web Producers to work on-site in downtown, DC. This manager will lead a team of producers to increase the value of each visit to the client's website through online content production and implementation of audience engagement tactics that move the casual visitor to an engaged user.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Overseeing the consistent application of SEO best practices, prioritization for engagement opportunities within the content and maximizing conversion.
• Providing input and cost-effective strategies for continued improvement and acceleration of engagement with client content, services and member benefits.
• Developing an annual strategic plan to achieve the organization and department objectives grounded in performance data, forecasted metrics & ROI, innovation and creativity, competitive analysis, market segmentation and market trends.
• Planning the personnel budget, recruiting, training and management, including the evaluation and justification of additional resource.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 3-5 years personnel management experience.
• 3-5 years digital marketing experience.
• 2+ years in online editorial or blog production management.
• Proven leadership in online editorial and blog production, on both desktop and mobile, including use of multimedia, content discovery elements and interactive features such as quizzes and polls.
• Proficiency in understanding the Editorial to Web Production process and using a workflow management tool such as QuickBase, JIRA or BaseCamp to effectively manage resources.
• Proficient in CMS platforms. Experience with HTML/XML a plus.
• Experienced in SEO for page, image and video optimization.
• Proficient using web analytics tools such as Omniture and Google Analytics to track and analyze performance.
• Understands audience segmentation, usage rules and major style guidelines.
• Interact on a frequent basis with Editorial, Product and other stakeholders to manage the production of pages.
• Implements quality checks to ensure content works on both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Proficient with Excel – including ability to present reports and compelling business cases through charts, Power Point, Word and Google Drive.
• Strong verbal communications including being comfortable speaking in front of small to medium size groups.
