TITLE : Manager of Store Operations ( Project Management)

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Store Operations Manager It is responsible to manage initiatives and enable a store environment that is productive, efficient, profitable and safe. This role develops and ensures we have the best operational processes and practices in place to make our stores the preferred place to work and shop. This role demands proactive and collaborative program management to effectively plan, manage and track results of multiple projects. It will proactively work with HQ and Field business partners to identify opportunities to improve and evolve current processes to ensure efficiency, streamlining workload related to operational practices, and increasing productivity and consistency for stores.

The Manager of Store Operations creates and sustains consultative relationships with their all functional leaders and respective teams, acting as a trusted advisor on all stores related issues. The role is responsible to support business partners and the Store leadership team in key responsibility areas including project management, policy design and implementation, store opening and execution, workforce planning, assessing training needs, customer experience, and all strategies that meet the core needs of the business and fuel the growth of the division.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Manage and implement operational projects and project teams throughout the development life cycle: Investigation, Proposal, Design, Development, Pilot, Implementation, and Support
• Perform needs assessment (on-going feedback loop) and define critical information required to maximize performance and success of field store associates.
• Execute rapid design and development processes to deliver core solutions that meet cost, quality and time-to-market requirements
• Anticipate internal and external customer business needs and take appropriate action to continually search for better ways to increase customer satisfaction
• Continuously improve all operational processes with an emphasis on timely, simple and effective in-store execution, as well as clarity for the customer.
• Identify and secure appropriate sponsorship of projects and ensure leadership is aware of project milestones, checkpoints, deliverables, and results
• Stay current on market trends, business challenges and priorities, and deliver relevant solutions that support business objectives
• Establish and manage collaborative relationships with key stakeholders (see below in ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS), including vendor relationships.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:
• Partners regularly with Merchants, Merchandising and Field Visual, Marketing and Real Estate, Company Planning, Planning and Distribution, and Transportation creating significant work flow efficiencies.
• Delegates work as necessary to store team members and business partners; using time and expertise most effectively and creating opportunities to “teach them to fish.”
• Interacts with all levels of the leadership team, business partners and peers
