Manager of Online Media

We are looking for a manager of online Media this person strategically plans and implements online marketing efforts including Display Advertising and Search Engine Marketing and the testing and evaluation of new/emerging online media to drive consumer traffic to our clients website. Manage overall online media budget and vendor relationships. Lead and participate in weekly cross-functional task force meetings and contribute to the team approach in analyzing online media performance and determining strategic outcomes for implementation. Manage online media planning and buying team direct reports. Partner with offline media manager to integrate online media strategies and tactics with traditional offline media to deliver a fully integrated communication plan. Partner with Brand Marketing, Advertising and eCommerce.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage Display Media Planning & Buying Process
Leverage marketing data (3rd party data tools, prior campaign results and vendor media kits & meetings) to select the right fit vendors and sites for online media campaigns
Lead communication with vendors to gather media information and negotiate buys
Manage market research tools (comscore, Compete, online industry publications and media news) to stay current in online media trends and evaluate vendors against marketplace data
Manage communication with legal for review and approvals prior to campaign launches
Identify and evaluate new and innovative programs to drive online traffic to the website

Manage Pay-Per-Click Online Media Opportunities in Search Engine Marketing
Work with Paid Search Analyst to develop campaign strategy and optimize campaigns (including Google, Yahoo and Facebook)
Manage Day-to-Day Online Media Activity
Integrate online efforts with traditional offline advertising
Directly plan, negotiate and buy online media to execute against Brand and Internal Partner strategies.
Manage Event/Ticket advertising and internal partner advertising with a variety of departments.

Budget Management & Campaign Tracking
Develop campaign analysis, optimization processes, and recommend tactical changes to maximize campaign performance while maintaining appropriate cost per click and Return on Ad Spend goals.
Manage and maintain Online Campaign Tracker to provide Sr. Leadership with a weekly overview of additions and changes to online media campaigns for, internal partners and corporate partners
Manage Display Analytics Request Tracker
Co-manage weekly eCommerce/Media & Promotions team meeting to review campaign performance, discuss optimization opportunities and determine strategy for upcoming events and campaigns
Mange 48-hour campaign audit, pre-campaign and post-campaign structured meetings and metrics with vendors and oversee continual campaign optimization requests.
Prepare and Manage budget, track results and optimize program based upon results. ­
Partner with eCommerce to develop annual spend allocation strategy between online mediums (display, paid search) and point of origin based on company goals and key performers
Manage continual budget reflows based on actual spends
Update internal communication documents weekly with revised spend forecasts for core campaigns, events and corporate partners

Manage/Supervise day-to-day relationships with Vendors, Corporate Partners and Internal Partners
Manage internal online media agency to directly plan, negotiate and buy online media for Events/Ticket Programs and Internal Partners
­Negotiate campaign-specific contracts/terms and manage approval process with legal and key stakeholders
Manage communication between digital agency to share best practices and leverage media relationships to assist their online media buys
Perform other duties as assigned
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.


Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in marketing.

Experience: 5-7 Years: Experience in online marketing planning, direct buying and execution.

Specific Qualifications:

Strong general understanding of the internet, and it's evolution as a marketing vehicle.
Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects and priorities.
Candidates must be able to work well autonomously as well as with a team using strong communication skills, creativity, and organization.
Understanding of the entertainment or travel field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point) is required. Candidate must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, market research, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
The candidate will have specific experience in directly planning, negotiating, placing and evaluating media buys. Strong data analysis skills are necessary for continual online ad campaign optimization.
Experience with Media Visor, Dart for Advertisers, Google Display Network and Facebook Analytic tools required.
Strong presentation skills required.
