Manager of Audience Measurement

The Manager of Audience Measurement will support addressable advertising strategic analysis as well as many other advanced advertising projects including digital ads with custom reporting and analysis as well as conducting industry analysis, developing RFPs, and reporting requirements for development of new cross-platform reporting services. This manager will be counted on as the subject matter expert for all projects and systems managed. The manger is expected to work independently and with their immediate supervisor to execute activities which will include working with cross-functional groups and vendors (e.g., Engineering, Business Intelligence, IT, Ad Sales, Digital Products, Marketing, etc.). The manager will work to identify solutions and enhancements for current and new products. The manager will also document reporting, analytics and KPI requirements for new products based on their strategic analysis and input from internal and external business partners. The person hired will demonstrate proven experience showing high attention to detail with reporting, analytical, organizational, problem solving and documentation skills.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Manage reporting and analysis for Addressable Advertising and View efficiency and effectiveness studies including Agency, Client, Marketing, Ad Sales and other internal clients using SAS EG
• Provide analysis and forecasting as requested using multiple reporting and data analysis systems, mostly likely involving cross-platform reporting and analysis tools
• Responsible for pulling and comparing data sets from multiple channels with data segmentation and preparing reports summarizing data and analyses
• Responsible for key involvement in RFP process with 3rd party vendors which will include comparative and competitive industry analysis to identify potential key stakeholders with risks/rewards assessment
• Document reporting, analytics and KPI requirements for new products based on strategic analysis and input from internal and external business partners which could also include review of legal documents
• Work with manager to launch initiatives by working with internal functional departments (Engineering, Business Intelligence, IT, Ad Sales, Digital Products, Marketing and other teams as necessary)
• Conduct best strategic practice reviews to identify areas of improvement and evaluate business decisions to ensure they are in the best interest of the project, customers and company goals in terms of the big picture/cross-departmental strategic impacts
• Provide strategic insight on modeling for demographic and attitudinal based attributes with 3rd party vendor and Ad Sales teams for Addressable Campaign planning and targeting
• Responsible for working with Engineering, Dotcom and BI teams during data acquisition, integration and enterprise information architecture project phases
• Work with team project manager for input on cross-functional team meetings and providing input on agendas, supporting materials, and meeting minutes
• Work with team project manager on developing standard project documentation - project plans, agendas and business rules/requirements
• Provide accurate and timely updates to management and impacted departments
• Prepare results summaries and analysis reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
• Occasional travel required

Requirements
• Candidates must possess at 7-10 years large-scale project strategic analysis, data analytics, report development and industry comparative/competitive analysis experience that includes proven analytical and team leadership skills
• Bachelors degree in quantitative studies related fields preferred and/or a background in Data Analytics, Modeling and Business intelligence
• Must demonstrate outstanding analytical, information synthesis and strategic direction skills
• Experience with analytics and data systems such as Nielsen, Omniture, Google Analytics, SAS with roughly 2-3 years of hands on data analysis experience and exposure to analytics while working with DBMS environments a plus
• Experience with data acquisition and enterprise information data projects for tailored information delivery especially in the areas of RPD and web analytics a plus
• Ability to effectively operate in a fast paced environment within diverse and cross-functional groups while being highly detail oriented, analytical and strategic
• Must possess outstanding organizational and time management skills to implement results-oriented goals in a timely manner and the proven ability to work successfully and independently in a dynamic environment
• Strong written and verbal communications skills required
