The Manager, Web Analytics & Optimization is responsible for delivering insights to grow the Ecommerce business through ongoing analysis of the website, customer behavior, and customer feedback. The
In addition, the Manager, Web Analytics & Optimization is responsible for analyzing, reporting, and making recommendations for the
promotional activities for the website.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
role will be to ensure we are gaining insight into customer & visitor
behavior in order to optimize the customer journey for various targets (e.g. repeat and new
customers) and increase conversion rates.
 Develop an in-depth Ecommerce dashboard, maintain data integrity
 Package, deliver and present reporting and analysis to key stakeholders and functional
business partners on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual)
 Prepare the ongoing reporting, analysis and forecasting of web metrics which include
clickstream data, traffic partners, funnel conversion, as well as content, product and
promotion performance to support the Ecommerce business
 Identify new opportunities and ideas to grow the Ecommerce business based on data
analysis using tools such as Coremetrics and Google Analytics
 Analyze performance of promotion effectiveness, recommendations for future
promotions, and communicate promotional activities to cross functional partners.
 Collaborate with internal partners to set and manage appropriate goals, priorities and
strategies for data analysis
 Collaborate with internal partners to develop iterative A/B testing program, work with
3rd party vendors to implement tracking, reporting and provide actionable
recommendations ongoing
 Integrate Ecommerce data with other sources of data to ensure delivery of a consistent
multi-channel retail reporting
 Support the business planning process, including category forecasting, planning and analysis of key business metrics
 Collaborate with business insights team to reference business and customer data for analysis alongside marketing data sources, when required
 Provide recommendations using customer insights, industry research and competitive intelligence
 Set up and oversee requirements for data feeds and on-site analytics tagging (Coremetrics, Google Analytics) for reporting purposes
 Maintain trackable URL and web analytics tagging standard and protocols, coordinate with 3rd party partners to ensure compliance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
 3-5 years direct to consumer e-commerce experience, at least 2-4 years related to e- commerce web analytics
 The candidate should have strong analytical skills and be able to translate analysis into actionable recommendations to help achieve revenue goals and improve customer experience.
 Experience working in Coremetrics
 Experience working with Internet and database tools (i.e. web based reports, database
and various multimedia technologies)
 Experience with Tableau is a plus
 Understanding of financial planning and reporting a plus
 Experience working with Demandware is a plus
 Proven leadership management skills
 Ability to work collaboratively
 Thorough understanding of website metrics, data analysis and reporting tools
