Manager, Trade Marketing

We are seeking a Manager, Trade Marketing for the Ad Sales Marketing department. This department is responsible for supporting the ad sales team by developing cross-platform strategic ad sales partnership programs, launching industry-facing trade campaigns and planning/executing media events such as the network Upfront−all with the intent to drive revenue for our broadcast network.

DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Trade Marketing will work closely with the trade staff to manage and execute key projects that are in development for the pre/post Broadcast Upfront season. The manager should have experience working across multiple platforms with an expertise in media campaigns, project and event management, marketing strategy and vendor relations. In this role, the Manager will oversee the following:

1) Support the team with remaining Upfront project fulfillment
2) Help manage day-to-day communications with outside vendors
3) Support the team with incoming ad sales requests
4) Manage and oversee key elements of trade campaign to keep it running smoothing: creative execution, deliverables, etc.
5) Ideate additional communication plans & tactics geared toward the ad sales community
6) Organize strategy and execution of programming engagement geared toward the ad sales community for upcoming show priorities.
7) Help manage the production & fulfillment of sales marketing materials and premiums
8) Assist in the development and strategy of the network's Upfront season materials/positioning as well as remaining 2014 trade initiatives.

S/he will work closely with the trade team, consisting of one Director and a Manager and will be supported by a department Intern. Responsibilities may also translate to our sister network.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Detailed orientated, a problem solver as well as very solutions-orientated.
- Have experience working within an ad sales marketing and/or consumer marketing department at another television network or media company
– Have worked directly with an on-air/digital production/creative team(s).

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a creative thinker and team player with experience managing sponsorships
- Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- At least 5-6 years of experience at an agency, media company or sales organization
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience using Excel, Word and especially PowerPoint
- Experience with graphic design is a plus
