Manager, Rewards Acquisitions

Aquent’s leading hospitality company client is looking for a long-term contract (12 months+) Rewards Acquisition Manager for its Bethesda, MD offices. The Rewards Acquisition Manager will manage strategies to grow new memberships to one of the client brand’s MI Rewards programs. The Rewards Acquisition Manager also will manage integrated campaigns within digital, social, viral, direct and email, on property, global sales, and reservation center, as well as:
• Executing the implementation and optimization of all acquisition campaigns across multiple channels, with the goal of enrolling high value guests globally for the client’s rewards programs
• Manage integrated campaigns within digital, social, viral, direct and email, on property, global sales, and reservation center channels
• Partner cross-functionally with Credit Card, Global Sales, Member Promotions, Property associates to pull through strategies
• Manage campaign timelines, budgets and create workable business processes for flawless campaign execution
• Support in-Continent Director of CRM’s to execute acquisition campaign strategies for membership growth
• Coordinate with external partners and vendors to target high-potential travelers into the program
• Support the development of new marketing techniques and programs in support of acquisition efforts
• Partner with Consumer Insights team to deliver and analyze monthly enrollment reports.as well as deliver regular and ad-hoc campaign analysis.
• Responsible for ensuring agencies, vendors and media partners generate regular program performance reports on a timely basis. Work with them to provide thorough analysis, and communicate results to appropriate
• Support a test-and-learn curriculum to continually optimize performance
• Collaborate with Loyalty Marketing Communications team to provide direction to creative and media agencies for generation of new assets – including creative briefs through asset approval – as well as on industry trends
• Work with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives, such as Creative Agency, Digital, eBusiness Systems/IT, Measurement & Analysis, International, Marketing Communications, Legal, Brand marketing, Buzz Marketing, Rewards, Field Support, and other areas as appropriate to execute acquisition campaigns for membership growth
• Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; obtains and compares information from different sources to draw conclusions, develops and evaluates alternatives and solutions, solves problems, and chooses a course of action
• Strategy Development - Develops business plans by exploring and systematically evaluating opportunities with the greatest potential for producing positive results; ensures successful preparation and execution of campaigns
• Technical Acumen - Understands and utilizes professional skills and knowledge in a specific functional area to conduct and manage everyday business operations and generate innovative solutions to approach function-specific work challenges

Requirements:
• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing or related function
• Hands-on skills and experience managing marketing efforts through various channels: digital, social, direct mail, email, web, contact centers, social media
• Hands-on skills and experience managing lead-generation campaigns including display advertising, media-buys and technical processes.
• Experience managing and directing multiple agencies/ vendors.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to analyze data across multiple reporting sources
• Effective written and oral communication and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrates self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
• Excellent written, analytical and spoken communication skills
