Manager, Brand Excellence & Multi-Cultural

This position has the exciting task of activating global marketing best practices and multi-cultural strategy across the enterprise. This marketing manager is at the forefront of marketing practice bringing new ways of working, thinking and approaching brand building to enable our client to grow its portfolio of iconic brands.

This Marketing Manager leads several key initiatives to drive best-in-class brand building specifically: development of new marketing models & tools and multi-cultural strategy. The position operates at both a broad, conceptual level and requires execution of key strategies and frameworks.

The scope and nature of these responsibilities includes:

Global Best Practices: This marketing manager will lead the activation of global marketing best practices and processes across the organization. This individual will scout out new approaches and principles and bring them to Hershey to ensure the company has the right frameworks and models to build our brands, specifically around electrifying human insights, positioning strategy, integrated marketing communications, connections planning, and global brand stewardship. This individual will also build and teach marketing best practices.

Multi-Cultural Strategy and Activation: She/he will lead multi-cultural marketing strategy, including where to play and how to win. Also, the manager will lead strategic activation across agency partners and brand teams to ensure holistic and integrated creative ideas across multi-cultural and general market growth cohorts.

The Marketing Manager must be effective at:

1) Developing and presenting recommendations to senior management
2) Engaging internal and external partners engage in creative, problem solving
3) Working collaboratively in a leadership role with Marketing Managers and others throughout the marketing organization to ensure successful integration and use of marketing best practices and multi-cultural strategy
4) Inspiring and teaching marketing best practices
5) Leading and directing the activities of external partners including agencies and consultants
6) Building a strong network of advocates to advance and adopt new theories & practices

This role is for someone who loves marketing and who is passionate about bringing out the best in others. This role is about integrated brand building and elevating the company's thinking to achieve marketing greatness

1. Activation of marketing best practices, including scouting and dissecting external best practices
2. Driving multi-cultural marketing strategy and activation across enterprise and key agency partners
3 Performance management activities including personal training and development
5. Strategic and annual planning
