One of our top Media & Entertainment clients is seeking a Manager of Audience Insights! This would be an on-going contract with full benefits!

Position Summary:

The Manager, Audience Insights is a semi-technical role focused on the design, planning, implementation, and testing of analytics solutions for websites, mobile apps, and connected TV (OTT) apps. Key job functions include meeting with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and define measurement goals, designing and documenting measurement solutions to track these objectives, coordinating technical implementation of analytics tags & SDKs with internal and external development teams, configuring reporting dashboards and testing and troubleshooting the implementation and data. The role is also responsible for providing guidance and best practices to analysts, product owners, marketers, and other stakeholders around using the data that results from these implementations to achieve business objectives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background with a variety of measurement platforms like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Comscore, and Nielsen, and understands how to use these tools to perform analyses and reporting as well as how to implement and configure the tags and SDKs that power them. The candidate should also be similarly familiar with tag management platforms like Tealium, Ensighten, etc, Data Management Platforms (DMPs) like Adobe Audience Manager, Krux, BlueKai, etc, and other digital product and marketing measurement tools. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, and the ability to clearly articulate and document measurement requirements and capabilities to both non-technical and technical stakeholders. An understanding of computer science and programming languages like Javascript, Objective C, and Java is a strong plus

50%: Manage analytics implementation workflow.
• Define and document requirements for specific measurement goals
• Manage internal and external engineers on implementation of tags/SDKs
• Configure reporting and tag management platforms

35%: Strategy and Guidance
• Meet with stakeholders to understand business objectives
• Demonstrate and document ways to perform analyses and gain insights via analytics solutions
• Evangelize data-driven decision-making and best practices

15%: Quality Assurance
• Test and validate data collection to ensure proper functioning

Requirements:
• B/A in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Statistics, or other related fields
• 3-5 years experience implementing analytics and audience measurement tools
• 3+ years experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture)
• 1+ years experience with tag management platforms (Tealium, Ensighten, Adobe DTM)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, mathematical, and creative thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment
• Passion for digital media and technology

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Programming experience with languages like Javascript, Objective C, Java, Brightscript, C++, SQL, etc
• Adobe Analytics Implementation Certification
• Background in an analytical or developer role
• Familiarity with testing tools like Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Wireshark, or browser developer tools
• Prior experience with digital video, television, or entertainment fields
• Familiarity with Agile software development workflows and related tools (JIRA, Confluence, Zendesk, etc)
