Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Manager of Agency Relations for a 12 month assignment in their San Francisco location.

As a Manager, Agency Relations, you’re a tech savvy progressive influencer, balancing strategic big-thinking with day-to-day rodeo skills. You're expected to be fluent in the fundamentals of marketing, branding, and the creative process, with a healthy experience set across agency and client side work. Equal parts trainer, coach, business partner, and negotiator, you have extensive experience in partner management and marketing governance, and a deep and wide understanding of the agency landscape and project management. You’re a strategic thinker and change agent who is comfortable in chaos and who thrives jumping in feet first to solve challenging problems.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
-Work with cross-functional teams to influence, implement, extend, manage, and evolve our creative resource ecosystem
-Manage day-to-day relationships with key agency partners and work across marketing to connect the right projects with the right creative partner
-Partner with learning and development to execute strategic agency-related training programs

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 8 years relevant work experience)
- 10 years of work experience in a agency relations role or similar role.
- At least 8 years of work experience in brand and technology marketing
- At least 8 years of experience working on both the agency and client-side

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and agencies
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment
- Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within client
- Strong social/interpersonal skills that enables close working relationships with key leaders at top agencies and within key Product Areas
- Ideally from an agency background with intimate working knowledge of how agencies function and how decisions are made
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems and scale effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team
