Mac Support Specialist

Aquent has an immediate need for a Mac Support Specialist for a one year contract opportunity with a Global Fortune 500 company. The contract will most likely get extended. The ideal candidate must be a Mac expert with technology skills both in software and hardware. This is not position for those with PC expertise only.

- Support 60-75 Mac computers and software within the Global Creative, US Creative and US A/V teams. Act as the Subject Matter Expert and functions as 2nd tier support for the resolution of issues with Macs and/or the design and production software used by internal Creative agency to deliver Company marketing materials.

- Address user tickets submitted through system. Partner with IT to address architecture/infrastructure needs that will resolve overarching issues of Macs working in Corporate environment.

- Install new Macs, hard drive replacements, new software and administrator to authorize updates and upgrades

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Mac software and plug-ins for users. Must be knowledgeable of Mac OS 10.6, - 10.11. with desire to stay ahead of curve in understanding of latest Mac operating systems.

- Must be an expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat, Flash.) Knowledge of Capture1, RedGiant, Studio Visualizer (Studio Essentials); Suitcase Fusion and Font Folio for font management is a plus.

- Re-image Mac computers in Global Creative, US Creative and US A/V teams for replacement staff, to upgrade OS, last-ditch troubleshooting for computer failure, to replace hard drive including backing up data and restoring.
- Act as backup to Mac Architect/Engineer for Casper updates and reboots.
