Mac Support Specialist

This is an on-site 40 hour a week 2 mos+ temp assignment.

The MAC Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for assisting staff in the Pasadena offices, Pleasanton offices, and remote locations with technical support of Mac computers.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support Mac laptops, including imaging new Mac laptops with standard image
• Help resolve Mac hardware and software issues; Should be experienced in common applications, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
• Troubleshoot networking issues on wired and wireless networks
• Respond to requests for assistance in person, over the phone, via email, and/or via im.
• Troubleshooting mobile devices and tablets
• Day-to-day maintenance of computers
• Maintain inventory and documentation
• Troubleshoot/Resolve virus infections
• Assist with additional office duties as needed


QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
• Strong Desktop Support skills
• OSX support experience including OSX Applications such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter project plans as quickly as projects change and alter
• Quick learner, strong/effective problem solver, team player
• Detail oriented, organized and able to track multiple projects and issues
• Good understanding of TCP/IP Networking and VPN
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Previous experience as an Apple Genius a big plus
