M/W UX Architect - up to 45K

Our client are looking for a bright, talented individual to join our thriving UX team. You'll be an advocate for UX within agency, keeping abreast of the latest UX developments, actively promoting your knowledge and our UX offer, both internally and externally. As an experienced UX architect, you'll provide UX consulting on live projects, supporting Client Directors and Consultants in developing strategic recommendations and solutions, and carrying these through to the specification of appropriate, compelling and intuitive user experiences.

They work for some of the world's most prestigious businesses, offering exciting user experience challenges. You will use best practice user-centred design tools and techniques to deliver user research, benchmarks, UX strategy, experience maps, user flows, personas, scenarios and journeys, sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. Typically, you may also be required to conduct user research, focus groups, prototyping and user testing across projects to inform UX solutions. For all of these activities, confidence in communicating and presenting usability thinking and solutions to clients in a clear and easy to understand manner is essential.

Finally, you will have a natural ability to communicate and work efficiently with Designers, Developers, Project Managers, Consultants and Client Directors, using persuasiveness, inspiration and tenacity to champion the needs of the user while remaining commercially aware and pragmatic. You will be organised, passionate in your approach, with exceptional attention to detail and flexibility to achieve the best results for clients. Ultimately, the proof of success will be the quality of your input to innovative and award-winning digital solutions for our clients' problems, and their commercial contribution to client's business.

Your responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for user experience in client and internal projects
- Conduct UX activities as appropriate, including strategy, research, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, user testing, and consulting
- Actively promote our UX offer to your colleagues and clients

Your personal qualities and skills:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role and environment
- Ability to create high quality UX deliverables to sometimes tight deadlines deliverables across the entire UCD lifecycle
- Ability to present your work clearly and persuasively to senior audiences
- Excellent knowledge of latest digital trends and developments in UX
- Passion for user-centric design
- Relevant design, human-computer interaction, communications or technology related degree
- Proficiency in standard UX specification and analysis tools (Visio, Powerpoint, Axure, Google Analytics) and the ability to learn new ones quickly
