MW Digital Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of interactive projects from conception through delivery, including managing scope and resources, scheduling, budget tracking, the development of project plans and providing status. The Project Manager manages all factors that govern project success to ensure delivery within time, cost and quality parameters.

They should have a good understanding of web and related technologies, the principles of Project Management and appropriate methodologies and processes. They should have a track record of delivering projects to deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager would be expected to work in isolation on a project, and escalate issues when appropriate to Project Director and Client Services teams.

Although client relationship will be mainly managed by the account team, the Project Manager will be required from time to time to attend client facing meetings or join conference calls to support the account team.

Type of Work
➢ The work is mainly focused on Online Advertising (Standard and Rich Banners, HPTOs, Mobile/Table HTML Banners etc…) and overall digital campaign management

Type of work involved in a smaller proportion:
➢ Email Marketing (Design, Build, Broadcasting)
➢ Responsive and mobile optimized Landing Pages (Design & Build)
➢ Facebook Apps
➢ Responsive Microsite (UX, Design & Build, QA)
➢ YouTube Branded Channels
➢ Native & web mobile app development

Key responsibilities
➢ Creative, UX, design, development and QA team management on digital projects with budgets of up to £50,000 - projects can be either pure digital or part of an integrated campaign, in which case collaboration with other production partners (internal or external) will be key to the success of the project)
➢ Liaising with media agency and different media partners to source media specs and manage digital production through to delivery
➢ Managing outsourcing and third-party production partners, both nearshore and offshore
➢ Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents such as SoW, and functional specifications
➢ Project status reporting (internal and external), including a risk/issues log
➢ Creating and updating the project schedule including resource booking
➢ Managing, monitoring and reporting the project budget and financial reconciliations
➢ Interfacing with client services client contacts when appropriate and managing expectations
➢ Managing scope of the project and negotiating change requests when appropriate
➢ Obtaining timely sign-off of deliverables, phase and final project acceptance documents
➢ Ensuring all deliverables meet quality expectations and are delivered in a timely fashion within the project budget
➢ Ensure an accurate paper trail of work undertaken
➢ Help promote agency process

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required
➢ Excellent interpersonal skills
➢ Excellent written and oral communication skills
➢ Some client facing experience is a nice to have but not a must
➢ Good working knowledge of MS Project
➢ Good experience working on large digital banner campaigns with an extensive list of deliverables
➢ Good understanding of media formats and specs Demonstrated knowledge of User Experience principles and techniques
➢ Demonstrated knowledge of mobile-first, responsive design and development principles
➢ Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in all Mobile / Web technologies and digital trends
➢ Ability to explain technical requirements in a comprehensive way to those with no digital experience
➢ Ability to cooperate and enhance the overall team’s performance
➢ Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines
➢ Ability to work under pressure and very tight deadlines
➢ Ability to work closely with all members of Creative, Production and Account Management team
➢ Self-motivated and innovative
