We are seeking a left brain/right brain visual guru to lead our team of design vendors. Creative, energetic, open-minded thinker who can create and execute content for one of world’s most visited websites, corporate homepage. Accountable for successful conception from beginning to end execution of visual creative direction that successfully pushes our brand forward and capable of adapting existing creative to our page properties.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback without micro-managing.
• Ability to build positive relationships with others and take direction when need be.
• Ability to communicate effectively with creative and project management staff, engendering trust and respect.

Job Functions:
• Support the Creative Director by coordinating all MARCOM activities and art-directing the team of designers to develop innovative and on-strategy designs that meet the objectives on the assignment.
• Act as a liaison between Content managers, Design, Production, Editorial and in charge of tracking approvals.
• Hit tight deadlines with a can-do attitude
• Create style guides, presentations and other documentation.
• Distribute work to ensure high utilization and optimized work.
• This role involves hands-on work on original design work or creative extensions of existing campaigns.
• Regularly reviews creative work with the team’s Creative Director to get feedback on direction and supervises the work of designers while collaborating with Editorial and Production leads.

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of Design Management experience.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant (preferably agency) experience specializing in visual design for the web.
• Experience in advertising, marketing, corporate identity, brand management.
• Proficient in Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• UX skills a plus.

Education:
BA or BFA in Graphic Design or other related design discipline preferred
