PAY: $26.32/HOUR

** A FORTUNE 500 FASHION COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL MERCHANDISE COORDINATOR **

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with the Sr. Merchandiser/Merchandiser in the development and implementation of the seasonal business strategies that meet or exceed financial goals and customer expectations for global business, ensuring each market’s needs are met
• Partner with manager and cross-functional team members to develop key concepts and items, promotional strategies and store assortments to ensure that the collection is commercially viable in each market and provides and exciting customer store experience
• Support the development of assortment in accordance with overall strategies and financial plans
• Assist with building global assortment plans that meet global needs and in order to deliver a single detailed assortment to design
• Partners with Global Design and Production to develop and execute the necessary seasonal calendar; manages the team calendar and leads the weekly cross-functional team meeting
• Participates in all product milestones and ensures that Global product needs, including market exclusives, are met at concept stage through final assortment
• In partnership with Regional Inventory Management teams, owns the global flow strategy
• Communicate the final assortment and manager the exception booking process
• Partner with Inventory Management on final investment plan and strategy and address concerns
• Capture flow, season code, size model and time on offer at the style level in the global ACT (assortment tool)
• Partner with manager to assign global store tiers for all styles including exclusives based on historical and current product performance, as well as marketplace information
• Eliminate redundancies in the product assortment
• Partner with Global Production on fabric liability process
• In partnership with manager, approves garment fit intent and ensures product execution meets the design aestheric as well as commercially acceptable quality standards
• Assist with Average Unit Cost management through the pipeline – target settings (inputting product strategy), mid-way “frolls” and cross functional leadership
• Participates in the assignment of ticket price for US market and the guide price for other markets
• Assist with analyzing market hind sighting and provides findings to ket partners for continuous improvement
• Demonstrates successful collaboration with global partners, including Design, Production and Inventory Management teams
• Communicate changes in tactical plans to the appropriate members of the cross functional team on a timely basis
• Actively listen to all members of the cross functional team to ensure that tasks are well integrated
• Demonstrate strong teamwork skills through cooperating with cross functional team members and remaining focused
• Influences Global Design to ensure that design supports customer and business needs while remaining innovative
• Ability to contribute and formulate short term tactical plans that are vost effective, efficient, realistic and support strategies

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must possess an understanding of financial measurements and how to impact them
• Strong presentation, listening, vernal and written communication skills
• 1-2 years of HQ merchandising experience with a fashion retailer a MUST
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising
