PAY: $23-$27/hr (based on experience)

Description:
The Marketing Specialist for North America Strategic Initiatives and Growth is responsible for the strategic development and execution of a variety of Omni-channel projects and day-to-day management of these projects. A strong understanding of both brand marketing and e-commerce marketing is a mandatory, as well as excellent communication and organization skills.

• Report directly to Director of strategic initiatives and growth
• Utilize your knowledge of marketing industry and competitive actions to uncover opportunities to drive innovation and action on them
• Manage day to day execution of projects:
o Competitive research
o Strategy development
o Project management
o Brief writing
o QA
• Strategic initiatives may include, but are not limited to:
o Blog
o Influencer program
o CSR related initiatives – community and sustainability projects
o Loyalty program
o Acquisition programs
o Partnerships
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to gather subject matter expertise and collaborate to find best solutions. Important cross-functional partners include:
o Email team
o Site team
o Brand team in NY
o Site/email production
o Sustainability/Foundation team
o North America digital and experiential team
• Manage reporting and post-mortem recaps to ensure optimization opportunities are constantly being uncovered

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing / direct marketing including the development, execution and analysis of multi-channel programs
• Overall interest in the retail industry and it’s trends, challenges
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills required
• Experience in both direct to consumer and brand marketing organizations
• Comfort working with creative team and creative development process
• Organized, self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive with experience building strong partnerships and consensus across cross-functional teams
• Results oriented, attention to detail, willingness and ability to shift plans as necessary to meet overall business goals
• Self-confidence, energy and comfort working in and bringing structure to ambiguous situations and environments
