LOCATION: NYC, New York
START DATE: ASAP
CONTRACT: Monday – Friday || 40 hrs/week || 6+ months (intention to convert based on performance)
PAY: $33-$38/hr (based on experience)

The Manager of Wardrobe Production for Kids + Baby product reports to the Director of Brand Communications. They are responsible for managing sample process for Kid/Baby Photo shoots on and off location. This individual is responsible for understanding the seasonal product messages, as well as supporting all functions of the wardrobe process. Will be in charge for ensuring all wardrobe functions are in line with cross-functional partners needs and business objectives.

PRE PHOTO SHOOT:
• Participates in Seasonal Pipeline meetings: Line Confirmation, Brand Strategy Brief including Blueprint download to ensure Key looks and investments are clear and understood on a Global level
• Manages sample ordering process for Kid/Baby, following up with cross-functional partners to ensure Key investments are protected, as well as full range of priority assortments are maintained.
• Review and learn in detail Seasonal Key Messages/Collections absorbing Product Information using Design Mini-boards, Photos, Blueprint and ACT.
• Drives Key Meetings with Global Merchandising Teams as needed to confirm Product Information and changes coming out of Line Confirmation
• Creates seasonal priority list detailing Global Product Information by style. Used to prioritize Ad Samples for Photo shoots and ensure Key Styles have been bought Globally
• Creates Seasonal Key Item Deck. Used as a tool to outline Key Messages we will be shooting with Photos and Product Information
• Manages request for missing Ad Samples with Cross-Functional Partners in Merchandising, PR and Visual
• Manages Photo shoot prep, organizing and packing of Ad Samples for the Photo shoots, including labeling as needed
• Manages review of Seasonal Key Item Deck with external Stylist by reviewing Key Messages and Pre Shot List. Calling out any specific needs to me met for Styling
• Partners with Producer on organization of Wardrobe Studio and needs, ordering expendables and hiring Assistants for Photo shoot

DURING SHOOT:
• Manages studio set-up on location during prep, styling, fittings, shoot and breakdown days
• Manages prepping and organizing product to be shot, facilities shot order / shot boards
• Partners with external Stylist to review Product set up by Key Message / Collection calling out specific Key Styles and Product attributes: fit, color and buy
• Oversees creating of Looks supporting external Stylist as needed
• Facilities fittings, speaking to Ad Sample and product details, ensuring fit is correct. Working closely with external Stylist and Tailors
• Manages Wardrobe Assistants throughout photo shoot process
• Manages Styling Review meeting with external Stylist, Creative Director, External and/or Internal, Photographer, Producer and Brand Communications Partners. Managing any Product questions or requested changes
• Produces Shot List, which outlines each look detailing Product Information, retouching comments and 3rd Party apparel.

POST-SHOOT:
• Maintains organized shot looks to be delivered to Print Production Team and/or external Retouching Vendor
• Follows up with Global Merchandising Teams in the event of any detail or product changes
• Owns sharing Final Shot List to Teams. Confirming thumbnails per shot
• Reviews Proofs and retouching as needed with Print Production Partners
• Manages the incoming and outgoing of samples once Brand Shoot is complete, i.e. to Charity, Archive and Cross-Functional Teams
• Manages creation and maintenance of sample archive.

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education in Marketing, Fashion, Photography or field that is relevant to daily tasks
• 3-5 years of experience managing wardrobe production, seasonal shoots, and working within a studio/on-set environment
• In-Depth understanding of the Apparel Industry. Must have an understanding of fabric, wovens vs. knits, etc
