MAC - Technical Support Engineer

Aquent's client is looking for a MAC Technical Support Engineer to work a 6-month contract, on-location for 40 hours/week, with potential to convert to a full-time position.

This team creates, delivers and manages a significant print program. They support production deliverables as well as lead and engage advertising projects to streamline production processes.


  • Have a strong working knowledge of Macintosh devices in a publishing environment
  • Candidates MUST have prepress/Macintosh publishing experience
  • Deadline-oriented position that has worked with IT teams before
  • Can provide desktop support regarding Macintosh devices

  • Support Macintosh in desktop/client-hardware/software in a multi-media environment
  • Support newsprint publishing, digital OLA/CRM and packaging channels

  • 40% on process and software support for QA trafficking, final templates for newsprint, creative asset compliance, readying final files, managing network shares and content for integrated marketing server
  • 30% on systems hardware support for research/testing/purchase/configuration and deployment of Mac hardware/software, team projects and troubleshooting of color printers/devices
  • 20% on training and documentation/developing best practices documents
  • 10% on enterprise support as primary general support of Mac hardware/software and coordination of enterprise Mac deployment with the IT engineering team; consistent Apple computing deployment across the enterprise
