Loyalty Marketing Coordinator

This role is a part of the clients Loyalty team and is responsible for supporting member experience, marketing, and partner operations within clients Loyalty. Primary responsibilities include: evaluating the member experience across all major client touch points and recommending improvement, providing tactical support for marketing campaigns, providing tactical support for managing hotel partners, and providing assistance with program reporting.
A successful candidate will have an aptitude and enthusiasm for working across many functions within the Loyalty organization. A strong candidate must also demonstrate an attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who will develop an aptitude for both the execution as well as the underlying strategy behind the work, which will enable the candidate to make sound independent decisions and take on increasing responsibilities as time goes on.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for team data entry support, including:
• VIP Access hotel amenity entry - for program benefits and hotel amenities
• VIP Access hotel data updates in the hotel facing portal and customer facing website
• Managing manual member enrollments and replacement card requests
Assist in the operational aspects of campaign setup as necessary:
• Communication workbook setup
• Data & analytics requests
• Localization requests
• Data transfers to vendors/partners
• Data entry of site promotional offers
• QA site content
• Creation of campaign briefs for customer operations
Customer operations responsibility for monitoring, responding and/or escalating member issues, including:
• Elite Plus service requests from customer operations (membership eligibility, card requests, etc.)
• VIP Access hotel partner requests (material requests, training coordination, information updates, etc.)
• Global customer operations questions regarding policy / articles and member treatment
Assist in VIP Access Hotel Operations (as necessary):
• Supporting hotel partner microsite related service requests
• VIP Access Hotel enrollment
• Training material fulfillment
• Backup training responsibility
Coordinate overall loyalty member manual enrollments, card requests and associated fulfillment (growing into coordination for all enrollments & supporting collateral)
Review, compile, engage and/or escalate customer surveys to address member issues (both real-time and long term).
Assist in quality assurance efforts related to the Expedia Loyalty customer experience as necessary including:
• Testing of new site functionality and verification of site content
• Review loyalty customer marketing communications (email and direct mail)
• Track Elite Plus, VIP Access Hotel, and Expedia Rewards marketing and other material inventory
• Administrative support as necessary including coordination of vendor invoices to accounts payable and preparing monthly accruals for accounting
Qualifications:
• Fluent proficiency & comprehension of English is required
• Highly organized and highly detail oriented
• Highly efficient internet and MS Office program skills and highly proficient/comfortable with computers
• Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment, while communicating work status and meeting deadlines
• Strong time management skills
• Works with limited guidance, learns quickly on the job, and escalates issues as necessary
• Takes responsibility for his/her actions and is receptive to constructive criticism
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently (depending on the task)
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
• College degree required and / or related work experience
Core Competencies:
• Effective, professional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and computer data entry skills
• The ability to effectively interact with customers, and colleagues, managers, and vendors regarding day-to-day operations in a professional, service-oriented manner.
