Loyalty Account Manager

What is the purpose of the job?
• To manage the Direct Mail campaign production process for loyalty mailings, working with loyalty team, publications, design studio, print buyer and Business Units
• Reports into head of brand publications
What technical knowledge do you need?
• 2+ years Direct Mail/Marketing experience
• Excellent working knowledge of DM production processes
• Excellent English language skills and grammar
• Experience of managing agencies and suppliers
• Proven success in managing stakeholders in a commercial environment




What do you have to do?
• Organise and attend campaign briefing meetings with Loyalty Campaign Managers and Design Studio
• Produce and manage critical paths for campaign production process for each Loyalty mailing, based on campaign dates supplied by loyalty team
• Manage multiple critical paths for delivery of DM, ensuring creative is prepared for Creative Review meetings within timescales agreed with Loyalty Manager. Advise team of critical path date amends as necessary during production process
• Source images to use in each mailing, working alongside BU’s and studio. Present image options to Loyalty Campaign Managers to choose images from
• Ensure all stages of mailing design, from concepts through to artwork, meet the creative brief, and that all feedback during design stages is documented and actioned
• Following agreement by Head of Publications and Head of Loyalty, present DM creative concepts to relevant internal stakeholders including Trading Area Marketeers and Marketing Managers
• Ensure individual departments and sub-brands are communicated consistently in all DM.

• Ensure all DM activity is in line with overall customer journey
• Check and proof read DM material, ensuring it is to brief and that the requirements of the communications brief and relevant Trading Area objectives have been met
• Work with external agency and Design and Production team to ensure all artwork is correct and colour corrections are made
• Work with Design and Production team and external agencies to ensure that repro guidelines are adhered to in order to meet repro budget
• Attend regular meetings with agencies/internal stakeholders and follow up all actionable points
• Liaise with legal department to ensure compliance of all copy
• Ensure accurate and timely information is supplied to the Loyalty team
• Liaise with stakeholders who manage the library of images and transparencies to ensure DM critical dates are includes and images are available when required
• Maintain efficient “work in progress” files on all activity
