Logistics Business Analyst

As the Logistics Business Analyst for the Logistics team you will assist in successfully delivering metrics and reporting in Monthly DC Performance Reviews, SCR’s and creating analysis to drive improvement conversations. The candidate will assist in the Fleet Management project, working closely with internal Tech, territory tech teams and ops teams to ensure data is accurate and clean for the monthly reports and analytics.

You will serve as the quantitative expert on DC performance management team and be able to present complex data in a meaningful way. You will be responsible for creating analytics/ reporting to highlight problems in the day-to-day operations, drive improvement projects (i.e. cost-to-serve) and create the needed analytics to inform strategic direction. You will work closely with territory ops teams to do to ensure data is accurate and clean to ensure reporting is accurate.

The candidate will have logistics experience with a good understanding of key warehousing KPI’s and basic warehousing operations in large distribution centers. The candidate will also have knowledge of databases and will be able to extract data from databases like Teradata, Snowflake using SQL/ Alteryx and be able to create meaningful stories through Tableau and excel reporting. The candidate will have skills in collecting & analyzing KPI data in simple and meaningful ways, balancing multiple priorities and cross-functional collaboration. The candidate will also play a key role in elevating the current metrics to a more sustainable and automated platform and creating the ability to perform advanced analytics.

The candidate is someone who can handle ambiguity, take the initiative to get the work done and find creative solutions to problems. The candidate will need to be able to work within a multi-team environment including cross team collaboration.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
 Requires a bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
 2-5 years experience in Logistics/ Supply Chain with a focus on warehousing and distribution centers. Knowledge of key warehousing KPI’s and distribution centers operations
 Strong quantitative (i.e. statistics, optimization), data visualization and communication skills
 2-5 years experience collecting, analyzing, & reporting on data using Alteryx, SQL (or similar), Excel and Tableau
 Moderate to Advanced Tableau and Alteryx and SQL skills required
 Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems independently in ambiguous situations with limited direction
 Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure well.
 Highly organized with excellent follow-up and prioritization skills; demonstrates appropriate sense of urgency and strong drive for results
 Desirable but not essential: Prior work experience at Nike and/or understanding of Nike distribution centers.
 Desirable but not essential: Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma problem solving methodologies (PDCA; DMAIC etc.)
 Desirable but not essential: Advanced skills in Excel (Macro’s, VBA’s) to automate reporting and visuals
