Local Search SEO Analyst

Large Entertainment company is looking for a SEO Marketing Analyst for their Hotel/Hospitality division. This is a contract position that will primarily work on offsite SEO work including YouTube, Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn), local search, and press releases. A candidate with lots of local search experience is preferred.

General Job Summary:

The Search Engine Optimization Analyst will be a part of the marketing team and is responsible for implementing off site SEO tactics, local search tactics, reporting and analysis of web analytics to websites the client supports.

SEO analyst's responsibilities:

 Perform keyword research to determine appropriate keyword targets when required

 Optimize Titles, Descriptions, and Tags for new and existing YouTube videos

 Review offsite content, to ensure proper usage of important keyword phrases in URL’s, links and text content

 Maintain local search data feeds for accurate and up-to-date information

 Fix local search errors including duplicate locations, pin markers, and driving directions

 Build relationships with local search partners to expedite fixing local search errors

 Track the success of offsite SEO efforts through the use of detailed reports created through web analytics, ranking and proprietary in-house software

 Optimize press releases including links and keyword targets when required

 Optimize blog posts including links and keyword targets when required

 Training marketing teams about how blog posts and press releases improve SEO and traffic to our brands

 Monitor and report on link profiles including a strategy and tactics to be applied for better link profiles

 Social and SEO reporting and optimization of social posts for keyword targets where required

Required Competencies & Skills

 Passion for SEO and internet marketing

 Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere, with 1 – 2 years experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

 Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

 Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools, preferably Omniture

 Experience working with popular keyword tools

 Experience working with popular local search platforms

 Experience working with social platforms and how they integrate with SEO
