Global Marketing and Communications (GMC) is the central marketing and communications function of a multinational investment management company. GMC is dedicated to providing powerful marketing and communications campaigns and solutions guided by business priorities for their Retail, Institutional and iShares businesses.
GMC incorporates all business marketing functions, e-marketing and digital, creative services, events, media buying and advertising, as well as all regional marketing teams under the Global Chief Marketing Officer.

All internal and external communications, media relations and public relations efforts of the client are under the Head of Global Corporate Communications. Business management, analytics and research functions for the GMC organisation are under the Global Chief Operating Officer.

All brand initiatives and strategic messaging under the Head of Global Brand and the Head of Strategic Messaging GMC partners with Client Businesses, Investments, and Strategic Product Management to set and deliver relevant and impactful marketing strategies appropriate for each market and client base.

- Marketing collateral material
- Websites and their content
- Regular market commentary
- Special reports and investment white papers
- Investor newsletters and magazines
- Broadcast content and webcasts
- Advertising
- Meetings and events

Job Purpose/Background:
- EMEA Literature Management is a team within GMC-EMEA and is responsible for the management and production of marketing collateral and materials across EMEA in English and local European languages. The team supports the EMEA iShares and Retail businesses in the management of collateral from concept stage to distribution, including the co-ordination of production and approval processes.

- The role will be based in London and will report into the Head of EMEA Literature Management and work alongside other full-time and part-time members of the team based in London and Zurich.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the production of published literature campaigns and marketing collateral in local languages
- Provide excellence in delivery: on time, on budget, flawless language, spotless layout
- Update literature following regulatory changes or requests by various stakeholders
- Liaise with external partners for translation and printing, and perform quality checks
- Lay out documents in professional design software, using templates established by the Creative Services team
- Proofread materials in English to ensure consistency and quality
- Ensure that literature is approved by compliance and other stakeholders
- Update country marketing managers on literature within their market
- Manage stock levels of marketing collateral using external vendors
- Update literature on websites and other internal repositories
- Pro-active updating of literature to ensure that it is always correct and compliance approved
- Maintain records of production process and approvals
- Ensure that documents meet brand guidelines

- A good knowledge of written English (Italian/French/German languages an advantage but not essential)

- Strong project management skills: prioritise workload effectively, move projects forward in a complex environment, actively manage multiple stakeholders, maintain project schedules, operate within tight deadlines to produce high quality products, deliver on time and to budget

- Ability and willingness to learn about regulatory requirements for each country and ensure that all published material is approved by the business/compliance and adheres to local laws and regulations

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment – adaptable, reliable with a strong ‘can do attitude’

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with flexibility in regards to changes in strategy and project plans

- Willingness to train/learn new systems and packages

- Budget management skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail essential

Experience on some or all of the following packages would be an advantage (work will be carried out on a PC, not a Mac):

Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
