o Act as ambassador for the category. Research & understand competitive landscape.
o Analyze account business performance and develop/drive growth objectives that are aligned with Maker and TDWC initiatives.
o Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, business opportunities, threats and dynamics.
o Implement product strategies, merchandising and marketing plans to ensure sales are maximized and marketing objectives are met.
o Accountable for management of all licensees within the franchise portfolio, which includes resolving issues, reviewing/approving submissions (product, marketing & public relations) and guiding promotion/advertising initiatives.
o Ensure licensee requests are researched and responded to in a timely fashion.
o Support management in everyday responsibilities such as contract and amendment process, financial analysis, preparing presentations and other projects as necessary.
o Work with licensees to develop product that meets retailer needs by distribution channel while maintaining quality and brand integrity standards.
Finance and Business Planning:
o Participate and contribute to the strategic planning process. Develop strategies and business plans by product category, retail channel and brands)
o Manage the process from concept and pitch, to licensee on-boarding, contract negotiation and contract signature.
Brand and Content Management: (In conjunction with / support of the Sales and Talent team)
o Provide any licensee/product information in support of marketing and brand presentations and sales meetings.
o Help define and integrate licensees within wider brand and marketing plans.
o Understanding of the CPG industry, including knowledge of basic finances, supply chain management, account management, category management, operations, consumer trends, etc.
o Solid understanding of brand positioning, retail business development function, retail distribution and the retail environment
o Strong relationship building skills, flexible and adaptable; able to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels of an organization, both internal and external
o Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
o Highly detail-oriented. Excellent organizational and project management skills
o Ability to handle several tasks/assignments simultaneously and to maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
o Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, entrepreneurial able to work in a fast pace environment
o Strong negotiation skills
o Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
o Knowledge of YouTube and other digital content social media brands, talent and trends a plus!
