40% Category and Retail Development Business Support

  • Liaise with each major category group to fully understand brand performance, success, challenges and plans
  • As directed by Category and Retail development teams, lead creation and maintenance of output documents/ Presentations for all Internal and external meetings, i.e. retail listing matrix, key item catalog as sales tool for retail & USM
  • Work with licensees and category teams to gather necessary information, products, and assets needed for above on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate line plans and retail sell in presentations/ binders or catalogs by key account/ or channel
  • Act as the keeper and curator of NA sales success facts. Coordinate communication across licensing category teams on sales success to inform incremental sell-in by licensee, maintain NA sell sheets and push out to category & retail teams on a quarterly basis
  • Conduct analysis of sell-in data for all categories, by major retailer to identify gaps to maximize Hasbro revenue; present on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate and analyze 3rd party POS data tracking on behalf of the commercial team
  • Quarterly Deep dive analysis of business by category, property, retailer, channel, etc.

    30% Forecast Analysis

  • Coordinate quarterly communication and collection of licensee forecasts
  • Take forecasts from each of the category groups, and look at size of the prize by retailer and/or market share to craft goals & track progress (80+external partners)
  • Collaborate with Finance Manager to ensure quarterly communication of licensees budgets & forecasts

    20% Product Coordination

  • Coordination of Licensing product for key internal and external events, including but not limited to Retail account previews, studio swings, trade shows and internal product reviews (i.e. NYLR) – in collaboration with Global Events manager
  • Support Toy Fair (Feb) and Investor Meetings. Assist Global Marketing team in preparing for these events – pulling product

    10% Knowledge and insights for the competitive boy’s & girl’s property landscape

  • Competitive tracking – product, marketing and retail activations
  • Understanding fundamental consumer insights and applications
  • Conduct frequent store checks, all channels to provide insight on trends and competitive set`
