Level Designer (3D Artist)

A premiere development studio that builds apps and experiences to showcase the unique capabilities of the new platform while defining new paradigms for consuming, and interacting with mixed reality. We are looking for a talented and experienced Level Designer to join our development team, to take our ideas from concept, through graybox, to final quality experiences.

Your day-to-day work with consist of the following:
• Working with a team of designers, developers, and artists to implement feature prototypes based on goal-oriented deliverables
• Being responsible for all level implementation, event scripting, and scene management
• Working with developers to create tools and features for streamlining the prototype, and app development pipelines
• Participating in design discussions as an advocate for the level design process
• Enthusiastically participating in brainstorms and other collaborative exercises
• Pushing yourself to come up with solutions with “outside the box” thinking

Skills:
• 2-5 years of experience as a game level designer who has shipped several AAA titles
• Ability to work in a highly adaptive and collaborative environment where ideas are quickly formed and proven through prototype
• Understanding of game development pipelines and subversioning systems
• Deep knowledge of a game engine/editor (Unity, Unreal 4, etc)
• Mesh management
• Material creation/management
• Animation management
• Deep knowledge of a visual scripting editor (Unreal 4, Unity Uscript, Playmaker)
• Familiarity with C#
• Familiarity with a 3D modeling package (Maya, Max, Houdini, Cinema 4D, etc)
