Onsite in Manchester, NH! Part-time position - 20 hrs/wk!
Reporting to the Learning Content Manager, the Learning Content Developer will work on strategic initiatives to create cohesive and scalable customer experiences that can be leveraged across product lines.
The role will require top-notch content creation skills, along with a strategic mindset and the ability to collaborate with different product teams.
Plan, develop, and deliver customer-facing learning content, including naming and terminology, new subscriber experiences, user interface content, instructional text, structured learning, and error messages.
Stay informed of project changes and collaborating with product stakeholders to gather project requirements, changes, and information for estimating content development efforts.
Contribute to the design, evaluation, and development of the product experience, with a focus on learnability.
Work effectively with product design and development teams to advocate for customer learnability and to provide learnability reviews and content to support new features and workflows.
Requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
Conducts tasks and assignments as directed.
Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
Typically requires four to five years of technical communication, instructional design, digital learning solutions, journalism, or a related field.
Prior work experience in a high-tech or software company.
Experience with DITA-based structured authoring and content management systems is preferred.
Experience with infrastructure-related products is a plus.
