This Learning and Development team designs cutting-edge solutions using the latest technologies and methods to enhance the performance and engagement of client's global employees.
The Learning & Instructional Design Team Lead is responsible for guiding a team of Instructional Designers, as well as creating and maintaining high-quality learning and development activities and course content that support the mission and vision of the Learning and Development (L&D) Department.
¥ Lead and mentor a team of instructional designers in the use of instructional methodologies, adult learning principles, and technology.
¥ Aligns with the L&D Business Partner and the L&D Program Manager throughout the design process to understand the business needs and stay aligned to the project goals, scope, schedule, & maintenance plan.
¥ Assist in planning project schedule for design & development and drive the work and stakeholder input to that schedule.
¥ Apply learning design knowledge to produce solutions using insight from the Training Team, Project Managers, subject-matter-experts, and management.
¥ Assess, design, and develop learning solutions that assist business leaders in meeting functional and organizational business objectives.
¥ Identify emerging instructional and technology trends for the development and delivery of leading-edge blended learning offerings.
¥ Create course content that engages the audience, increases retention, transfers skill/knowledge, and drives sustained behavior change.
¥ Conduct learner analysis and task analysis to determine the target performers' existing knowledge/skills/experience, their motivations, the performance context/environment, and cultural considerations.
¥ Evaluate content for SCORM compliance and load and maintain in the Learning Management System.
¥ Engage management to establish learning profiles/curriculums and aligns and maintains offering structure/quality in the Learning Management System.
¥ Register employees for trainings through the Learning Management System and maintains accurate records.
¥ Review program evaluations, test results, and participant and manager feedback on learning effectiveness to make recommendations for improvement.
¥ Engage the LMS Administrator/IT through bug reporting and enhancement requests as well as be an active participant in the LMS Shared Governance Quarterly meetings.
¥ 5-7 years of experience with demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials that support learning objectives.
¥ Bachelors required; Masters Degree preferred in adult education/Instructional Design
¥ Strong customer service orientation is essential. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills required.
¥ Proficient with a variety of learning formats, such as e-learning, video, instructor-led training, job aids, and performance support resources.
¥ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.

¥ LMS (SABA)
¥ Visual design (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Gravit, Tinkercad)
