Lead UX/online education

Exciting role in a Corporate Ratings business to develop online learning courses with a team of e-learning specialists. Working as pat of the leadership team you will be working on an intensive research phase for the first 3mths followed by the potential to extend for the rest of the year and work with a wider team to bring best in class online learning tools to a wider audience.

The business are forming a dynamic and collaborative team that will be trying new things out and learning from what may or may not work. You will be leading your own work as well as supporting and contributing to the project as a whole. Role clarity may at times feel blurred as they explore new things or race to meet deadlines.
As the lead UX resource on these projects you will focus your efforts on the early stages of research and prototyping.

Role Accountabilities:

 Functional Requirements Gathering/ Management

Quickly review current research. Develop a research and testing plan. Define your approach to gathering, prioritising, and managing new requirements.

 User goal definition and journey mapping

Segment users and define their goals. Run workshops to map out user journeys. Illustrate journeys and review with user panel to gather feedback.

 Information Architecture testing and standardization

Develop an information architecture on the back of user testing. Set out standards for future content development.

 Online and Mobile application wire-framing

Develop site maps and wireframes for an online and mobile product that can be tested with prospective users and buyers.

 User testing and feedback management

Develop a testing strategy, organise and run testing sessions. Manage the consequent feedback

 Collaborating with the team to elaborate on the product concept.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

 Financial Services experience is not explicitly required

 prefer candidates with significant experience designing online educational products

 prefer candidates with a background applying behavioural psychology to their work

 prefer candidates with significant experience designing web and mobile application development

 prefer candidates with significant experience designing large-scale online content

projects

 prefer candidates with significant experience designing within an iterative approach

(Agile, lean, other)

 prefer candidates with significant experience in commercial product development

 prefer candidates who show us relevant work examples or that can illustrate how they

have conceived relevant solutions in the past.
