Lead UI Developer

In this position, you will join the User Experience Center of Excellence and be a key contributor to the Enterprise Design Library team. The team will identify, curate and manage a series of standards and components that other developers and designers consume while building products across our Client's entire portfolio.
Your role will be to develop these parts and patterns into production quality code for other development teams to reference and/or consume.

You will need to be able to coordinate with the technology leaders from our Product and Technology (Engineering) organization to understand their needs and facilitate adoption of the standards. To succeed you must be current and stay current with emerging UI technologies, frameworks, tools, and techniques and lead the way forward as the company expands its portfolio for tablets and mobile experiences.



Qualifications

EDUCATION: BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or related field.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years current professional experience in GUI development, and at least 8 years total software development experience.

SKILLS:
Expert-level knowledge of contemporary GUI technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3.
Deep-knowledge of at least one Object Oriented language (e.g. Java, C#).
Strong OO analysis, design, and development skills required.
Demonstrated ability to write elegant, clean, reusable, test-driven code.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Backbone.js, AngularJS) will be valuable.
Knowledge of stakeholder and communication management.
Experience with Agile / XP, TDD, BDD, IntelliJ, and Subversion also valuable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects and coordinate with multiple internal customers.
