Lead Publisher / Presentation Specialist

As the Lead Publisher/Presentation Specialist, you will work on-site within a team, comprising of highly skilled Publishers. You will be required to support the Team Leader where necessary and Global Workflow with the management of ongoing workload within the department from the point of its arrival through to its delivery to the client.

You will be required to produce high quality pitch books, using Word and PowerPoint templates, from information supplied through liaison with clients and the Front Desk team. You will also provide support with the management of all documents, regarding deadlines and quality and take ownership and responsibility for the projects allocated in terms of service, client management and professionalism.

Responsibilities will also include supporting the Front Desk team with administration duties, which include managing job-related activities, answering the telephones when necessary and providing cover on the front desk in the event of absence and during breaks. You will be expected to support new joiners during their probation period and assist with any ad-hoc training requirements when necessary.

Key role responsibilities:

■ To work within a team supporting your colleagues

■ To complete amendments to and create documents as requested by clients

■ To take ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlines

■ To assist with administration on the front desk (printing files, arranging couriers, answering phones etc)

■ To lead by example within the team

■ To develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to promote a strong working team

■ To demonstrate an adaptable and flexible approach

■ To build professional and working relationship with all clients

■ To ensure the client is communicated to at an appropriate level and appropriate frequency

■ To offer first line support with document queries, software upgrades and procedural changes

■ To offer first line support with troubleshooting queries from clients/peers

■ To train new software/processes to shift

■ To ensure smooth running of a planned Knowledge Store outage and be responsible for correct documents being checked in and out

Personal professional attributes:

■ You must have advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

■ Possess a critical eye in terms of accuracy

■ To have good organisational skills so that work can be effectively prioritised

■ Possess a good understanding of customer service

■ To display an adaptable, flexible and proactive approach

■ Advanced level of English, if second language
