Lead Manager, Digital Marketing Analytics

This is an opportunity for a talented, highly motivated individual with strong data analysis skills and strategic thinking to join our Digital Analytics team, within the Analytics & Insights organization. In this role you will be supporting digital marketing efforts related to streaming OTT products and offerings by analyzing data, providing better understanding and insight of customer behavior and usage patterns, and developing actionable recommendations that improve the performance and value of digital marketing initiatives.

You will be able to identify the “why” or “so what” from data; as well as play a key role for bridging the identification of an opportunity, to supporting the creation of the framework for a successful initiative. Strong problem solving, technical analytic and communication skills are imperative.

Details:
Perform quantitative analysis to provide insights and actionable recommendations to digital marketing teams on performance improvements and strategies. Critically evaluate detailed information on campaign, tactic, audience, website, and app usage in conjunction with other customer data and subscription data to abstract up from low-level information to general understanding
Perform ad hoc analysis, forecasting, and develop dashboards and reporting to monitor performance
Formulate the analysis plan, determine the data requirements, extract and manipulate the data, conduct analyses, and develop a coherent story with clear, easy-to-follow conclusions, implications informed by knowledge of the business and actionable recommendations to senior management and to the working teams in a concise, organized fashion
Effectively work with cross-functional teams and/or with various departments that include, but not limited to, product marketing, online marketing, revenue marketing, retention marketing, business intelligence, and engineering
Occasional travel required
Required:
4-7 years of experience in data analytics or related field
BS/BA in business, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related quantitative fields
Extensive experience doing hands-on analysis and strategic thinking ability
Proficient in Adobe Analytics, SAS and/or SQL, other relational database and web analytics tools, as well as a willingness to pick up new skills in this area
Experience with large transactional databases as well as online and web analytics
Expert abilities in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Desired:
An advanced degree
Subscription data experience
Experience with QlikView, Tableau, Microstrategy, New Relic, Hadoop, big data and other analytic tools and environments
Experience in cable, broadcast, and/or television industry
Experience in large media, technology, internet, ecommerce, or a subscription-based company
