Lead Instructional Designer

The Lead Instructional Designer, has deep experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to instructional design, marketing/communication, customer experience, graphic design, program management, and technology and has demonstrated ability in developing creative web-based and mobile training.

The Lead ID, Seller Education will support our strategy to leverage targeted training . You will work with a cross functional team to understand the selling process and Seller challenges. You will then design, develop and implement an effective strategy with interactive content to train.

Responsibilities:
· Program Management
· Create, edit and produce necessary collateral, training content, and templates that effectively educate Sellers
· Define, track and report Key Performance Indicators; communicate results to business partners and leadership and propose/implement changes as necessary to transform the Seller Education process
· Connect with new and successful Sellers to identify training focus areas, identify and support seasonal training needs
· Support the creation of training programs and roadmaps for long-term Seller training and development
· Develop certification approaches

Basic Qualifications
· Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities, outstanding cross-divisional collaboration skills, and international/multi-cultural exposure.
· Requires organizational agility (able to identify and work with many groups to achieve results), the ability to lead and drive change and a proven ability to maneuver through unstructured problems and create the necessary structure to drive results.
· Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
· Demonstrated experience developing eLearning courseware, performance support aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials.
· Proficiency with MS Office tools and collaboration and learning technology.
· Expertise in eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Flash, Crazy Talk, Storyline etc.
· Stays up-to-date on instructional design research and current events in the education arena and incorporates the latest, most effective teaching strategies into courses.
· At least 8-10 years’ experience in a senior instructional design role.
· Bachelor’s degree or significant college course work, preferably in a communication, education or related field.
· Can conceptualize technical-functional content into something creative that people actually enjoy consuming.
· You write well, you think creatively, you have a sense of humor, and you are extremely flexible

Preferred Qualifications
· MS or MA in a relevant field, such as Instructional Technology or Instructional Systems Design, Interactive Media, Technical Writing, and Education
· Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, project management, and content-specific certifications as appropriate (e.g. CPLP, CPT, PMP, etc.)
