Lead Designer/ Project Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Position develops and executes branding initiatives for Boys Brands. The position would be the creative lead developing and executing of new innovative global brand campaigns and 360 branding initiatives

KEY RESULTS AREAS:
Creating campaigns and guidelines/toolkits for local markets to executes Brand campaigns, advertising, merchandising, events guidelines brand books, brand guides, trade show/gallery environments, catalogs, interiors, sizzle video direction, brand logos, and retail environments and art direction of photo shoots.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Manage projects with outside creative resources (designers, copywriters, editors, illustrators)
Collaborate with Marketing partners, Account Management and Creative Mangers to execute projects
Manage own workload being able to prioritize multiple projects at any given time
Posses the ability to switch between brands with ease and understand the intricacies of each
Attend project kick-offs and present work to client
Responsible for routing and gathering feedback on all projects (creative manager and creative director)
Attend and present work in weekly Hot Sheet meetings with Creative Director
Prepare necessary work and projects to be presented at weekly creative review to be presented to Vice President and Senior Vice President.
Ability to represent team by being able to present with ease and confidence to multiple audiences
Be able to execute knowledge of photography, typography, art, pop culture and graphic design

Skills              

*** Designer will need to be inventive and possess a passion for the Boys Toy Brand and be connected to the alt sports (x-games) type of world of stunting (moto sports etc)***

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Position requires strong branding/graphic design/typography skills and ability to apply strategic thinking and consumer insights to all assignments
Passion for Branding in general
Ability and willingness to be a hands on designer
Excellent computer skills: CS5, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS REQUIRED:
6 years minimum in Graphic Design
Agency Experience preferred
Photo shoot experience
Possess knowledge of Current Trends in Design, Architecture, Brand Identity, and Typography
Steeped in the world of Branding, Design, Advertising and Merchandising.
