Lead Customer Experience Designer

The Group is a dynamic digital customer experience team committed to building the future of Group Insurance. The Customer Experience designer is a passionate, talented UX generalist who will create sketches, wireframes, mockups, experience maps, and other assets to provide vision and guidance for a number of digital products. You will collaborate closely across departments with graphic designers, writers, and engineers to deliver experiences that make a strong positive impact on our B2B and B2C customers.
• 2-5 years of experience in UX design and graphic / visual development required.
• Adept at a variety of UX design practices including user / design research, information architecture, interaction design, human factors, graphic design, and UI guidance.
• Strong heuristic background in UX patterns and interactions: You’re able to spot and correct awkward digital experiences with relative ease.
• Incorporate insights gleaned from customer feedback, site metrics, usability testing, surveys, and insights from the contact center and social media to improve our products.
• Possess a solid understanding of how to maximize customer conversions and satisfaction.
• Skilled in various design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Omnigraffle, Axure, Invision, or related tools.
• Contribute UX patterns and interactions to an evolving centralized digital style guide.
• Good oral, written, analytic and communication skills: Can effectively present designs to a discerning audience.
• Solid understanding of the limitations and possibilities of front-end technologies and platforms such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Windows, Android, and iOS. Front-end coding ability a plus: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Presentation specialty a plus: PowerPoint, Keynote, Tableau.
• Knowledge of group or individual insurance, financial services, healthcare or other highly regulated industries desired. Experience with multi-channel customer experience and self-service an asset.
• Online portfolio or samples of work are required.
