Lead Account Director

With the support of an account handling team, and reporting into the CEO, this role requires a strategic and ideas-led Account Director to manage, own and develop client relationships across the digital music advertising landscape in EMEA and APAC. This is a senior role within a growing company that is creating a new category within digital advertising.

With demonstrable experience of delivering inspirational campaigns for your clients, you will own the profitability and commercials of the London office and be able to spot opportunities for additional revenue.

Duties include:
- Directing the development of EMEA & APAC client accounts, partnering with clients to define and deliver engaging advertising solutions
- Acting as a trusted advisor and partner to clients by adding value to the client relationship
- Managing & mentoring 2 Account Managers
- Business Development
- Nurturing long-term relationships by applying commercial and financial rigour
- Proactively developing ideas, strategic proposals and presentations for existing and prospective clients
- Actively seeking, negotiating and closing new business opportunities
- Managing the profitability and commercials of the London office
- Working closely with the CEO and senior creative and technology team members in our offices worldwide
- Ensuring that all work developed and presented is relevant, on brief and in keeping with the client’s brand objectives
- Ensuring that all necessary administrative paperwork, such as weekly status reports and estimates, are provided
- Coaching and developing junior team members

You will need:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience within an agency or technology environment
- Proven experience of establishing trusted advisor relationships with senior clients
- A deep understanding of the UK media and agency landscape
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- To have worked with local affiliates to implement global campaigns
- To have managed significant financial budgets
- A passion for music and emerging technology

Desirable:
- Technical knowledge (front & back end web development, digital production methodologies)
- Strong relationships within London’s music and/or digital publishing industry
