LMS Implementation Project Manager

Aquent's Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a LMS & Video Delivery System Implementation Project Manager to work a 6 month (June-November) contract on-location with potential to extend in Plano, TX (Dallas area).

Responsibilities:
Project Manage the new LMS/Video application integration to ensure successful and on-time launch
o Create and maintain a detailed project plan (high-level initial plan on next page) in partnership with LMS/Video vendor
o Partner with Talent Development, IT, HR Systems, Broadcast/Media Team, current LMS vendor (Saba), current Video Delivery vendor (GlobeComm), and new vendor
o Gain alignment with applicable stakeholders
o Hold project team accountable to all functions of the timeline
o Create and maintain status reports
o Monitor scheduled tasks and communicate status on a scheduled basis; coordinate & schedule team status meetings

Technical Aptitude:
o SQL
o Assess technical risks & assist with technical problem solving
o Learning Management System implementation experience - MUST HAVE
o HRIS data experience, specifically PeopleSoft

Additional Qualifications:
o Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
o Project management certification, with MS Excel or MS Project experience
o Local resource; travel expenses not covered
o Work on-site at Corporate office

Note: Scope of work is primarily for LMS integration, with overall integration support needed for the Broadcast/Video portion
