Key Account Marketing Manager

This role requires a person with key-account marketing experience to set up, develop and drive a key account marketing plan for one of our most important global enterprise clients in the telecoms and media industries.

Main activities in this role include:

• Working as part of the senior account team as the “CMO”, the post holder will be required to understand the business objectives of the account team and develop a strategy and plan to meet the objectives and sales targets and develop a marketing plan to support them.
• Understanding the client company and their place in the appropriate industry landscapes, the post holder will be required to understand their culture and the decision makers for consultancy solutions in order to shape the most appropriate marketing plan for this account.
• Engaging industry organisations, associations and networking groups to understand their activities and audiences, and using appropriate events and channels to demonstrate consultancy industry expertise, especially to the key account client being supported.
• Understanding the range of Client's solutions and pro-actively using existing marketing programmes to present them to this client.
• Drawing on appropriate marketing activities from the divisions across Accenture (industries, solutions, technologies etc) and ensuring engagement of the appropriate client executives.
• Leading the engagement of other consultancy marketers, appropriate agencies and other resources to enable execution of the marketing plan.
• Identifying and supporting RFP and major bids with marketing across their lifecycle.


Skills, experience and attributes of the successful candidate

• Be able to demonstrate business and technical industry experience with knowledge and understanding of key account.
• Be able to articulate marketing benefits and ROI with gravitas to senior stakeholders.
• Be able to demonstrate Leadership skills and lateral/logical thinking, shaping programmes with business acumen and creativity to drive business outcomes quickly and regularly.
• Be able to demonstrate the skills required to deal successfully with deadlines, budgeting, relationship building and influence decision making.
