Junior/MW Digital Designer (Banners)

Are you a Junior or Midweight Digital Designer looking for your next role? Then we have a great new opportunity at one of the world's largest gaming companies, that might interest you.

They are looking for a designer to work on banners for their online store during October, this may potentially extend to a 3 month booking.

You will have strong layout, typography and digital experience. Online retail experience preferably, including banners etc. Strong Photoshop and Illustrator. Flash would be an added bonus, but not a necessity.

The Digital Designer is responsible for producing creative assets and campaign art for EMEA/ANZ digital sales channels including the client's online store and external media.

Role & Responsibilities

• Rework existing assets to produce banners and skins for the digital stores on multiple platforms to meet weekly publish requirements.
• Create campaign and promotional assets for digital stores and external media, including static banners, skins and rich media.
• Create bespoke digital assets for key EMEA/ANZ territories.
• Support the Digital Commerce team in the design and production of MS Powerpoint presentations and Adobe PDF documentation.
• Ensure all store and external creative remains brand compliant.
• Ensure all store creative adheres to the design principles and merchandising templates.
• Liaise directly with the localization team to tailor visuals and messaging for specific regions.
• File, maintain and upload assets to internal systems.

Skills & Experience

• Professional working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (Expert), Illustrator (Expert), InDesign and MS Office.
• Creative ability and skill producing digital visual design layouts.
• Ability to come up with original creative concepts for campaigns.
• Experience designing and building Adobe Flash banners, including expandable and rich media. Experience using FlashTalking.
• Creation of brochures and documents using Adobe InDesign
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Proactive drive and passion for contributing to business success.
• Background in ecommerce, digital retail design and usability, or at least 2 years agency experience in a digital department.

• After Effects.
• Video editing and encoding.
• Illustration skills.
• 3D modelling and animation skills (Maya or C4D).
• Experience producing visual design for both large screen television display and small screen mobile interfaces.
• Knowledge of the Video Games industry and an interest in Video Games

Education & Qualifications

• Must be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
