Junior Web Analyst

Aquent are looking for a Junior Web Analyst to join a leading high street fashion retailer based in central London.

The specialist will provide comprehensive analysis on web performance and vital insight into consumer buying behaviours.

Key responsibilities:
Track and conduct in-depth analysis of website reporting performance, trends, paths and results of online marketing initiatives to provide data driven business intelligence 

Proactively identify performance gaps in the websites and make high level suggestions for improvement 

Website analytics measurement & reporting – regular dashboard reports and specific detailed “deep dives” 

Analytics gap analyses into what reports may be missing and should be set up 

KPI development and monitoring 

Website tagging strategies & recommendations , and development & implementation of tagging plans
Configuration of bespoke reports within analytics reporting suites 

Identify areas for A/B and multivariate testing activities, (where appropriate and possible) 
using Google Analytics and other
Regular QA process of all tags to ensure that all pages are appropriately tagged 

Develop reporting templates and dashboards 

Educate other teams in the business about what analytics can help it achieve 

Staying current on the latest developments in data and web analytics 

Support the CRM team in understanding how existing customers use the website
Contribute insight into the bi-weekly team meetings 

Key Criteria:
Have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills 

Commercial analyst focused on generating ROI 

Knowledge of Site Catalyst and Google Analytics 

Be able to compile and write reports that demonstrate strong writing skills and the ability
Use of Website Optimising technologies Google Experiments, Qubit, Maxymiser or other
Be adept at brainstorming ideas, explaining concepts and connecting pieces to solve 
real consumer problems
Ability to focus on key conversion issues that have a material effect on performance 

Statistical knowledge and background, ideally with coding and technology infrastructure knowledge 

Working experience of Google Analytics and Site Catalyst 

Understanding of data modelling concepts 

Ability to merge data from a multiple sources and formats into data acceptable for 

Ability to devise & construct ad-hoc queries using web analytics tools 

High attention to detail and quality of work. 

An understanding of data concepts and a working knowledge of emarketing such as SEO/SEM, targeted display, affiliates etc is a bonus!
